Ibrahim Shah Sharqi
After the death of Mubarak Sharqi, Sultan Ibrahin Shah Sharqi who was his younger brother ascended to throne in AH 803 (CE 1400-01). Soon after accession he had to face the joint attack of Dehli king Mahmud Shah and Iqbal Khan near Qannauj. Though Mahmud Shah tried to reconcile with Ibrahim Shah but failed and moved to qannauj. He captured it from Sharqi governor Fath Khan Harvi which was welcomed by general public. Both Iqbal khan and Ibrahim Shah tried to take control of Qannauj but failed. After death of Iqbal Khan Mahmud Shah moved to dehli, Ibrahim Shah finding this as a good opportunity marched in AH 809 (CE 1406) to take control of Qannauj. Sultan Mahmud also marched from Dehli to defend it, both armies encamped on both sides of the river Ganga and retreated without a war. But Ibrahim Shah Turned back and took control of the city after a siege of four month.
In AH 810 (CE 147) Ibrahim Shah even marched against Dehli, some of Sultan Mahmud Shah's noble joined him but he had to turn back when he heard about Gujrat Sultan Muzaffar's March against Jaunpur.
